From his birthplace in Bombay in December 1865 to his death in London in January 1936, Rudyard Kipling was an extensive traveller during his lifetime. Although Baden-Powell is famous for his foundation of the World Scout Movement and his exploits in South Africa during the Boer War, what is less well known was that he cut his teeth militarily in what is now Ghana during the 4th Anglo-Ashanti War.
